ÜBER DAS FESTIVAL

The MS DOCKVILLE is a three-day festival for music and art in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg. More than 60,000 visitors and almost 10,000 campers discover a unique area with over 12 stages, countless works of art and a harbour atmosphere amidst the backdrop of the Elbe and industrial flair. A diverse line-up, which is not restricted to any genre (but focuses on indie, hip-hop and electronic music), brings together newcomers, favourite artists and insider tips - and offers not only music but also workshops, readings, games and countless new inspirations.

General

  • Children under the age of 12 are not permitted on the festival grounds.

Children and young people between the ages of 12 and 15 are only allowed on the festival grounds if accompanied by a person with parental authority or a person with parental authority. A person with parental authority is any person over 18 years of age who is permanently or temporarily responsible for educational duties on the basis of an agreement with the person with parental authority or who looks after a child or young person in the context of education or youth welfare (§ 1 Para. 1 No. 4 JuSchG).

Adolescents over 16 years of age may enter MS DOCKVILLE until midnight without being accompanied by a legal guardian or legal guardian.

Parents or guardians must carry written proof of their authorisation and show a copy of the identity card of the person with parental authority on request.

  • If you have a "B" in your ID card, you can bring an accompanying person with you free of charge. Just buy your ticket and show your ID at the entrance.

We want to make it possible for every guest to move freely around MS DOCKVILLE. The festival area is a fallow and meanwhile green industrial area - bumpy and ungraded. We will prepare the area as best as possible for you.

Barrier-free stands are available at the mainsheet and foresheet stages, where you can stay at any time with a maximum of 1 accompanying person.

We have barrier-free portable toilets located throughout the site in the main sanitary facilities area. You will be able to borrow a Euro key for the use of the low barrier toilets for a deposit at the Awareness Stand in the Etepetete and on the Uferpark.

You will be able to download the barrier-free site plan here at a later date.

  • Soon you can download the site plan here.

  • Backpacks | Bags
Small bags, gym bags and jute bags may be taken onto the premises. The less stuff you have with you, the faster it will go at the entrance.

    Lockers
This year we will again offer a limited number of lockers for you during the opening hours of the grounds.

  • All visitors are allowed to take one drinking vessel of up to 1.5 litres with non-alcoholic beverage content and one empty drinking bottle (no glass!) onto the festival grounds. Drinking water will of course be available free of charge on the festival grounds. Tetra packs are not allowed. Food may also not be taken onto the festival grounds. There will be numerous food and drink stands. There will be a breakfast stand on the camping site. Of course, vegetarians and vegans will also be catered for.

  • Professional recording equipment
In general, no sound or video recordings are allowed on the festival grounds and consequently any violation will be punished by law. Allowed are 35mm cameras, reflex cameras without interchangeable lenses and cell phones with camera function. All recordings made without the explicit permission of the organizer or the artists are prohibited. As a consequence, criminal proceedings will be taken against the publication.

    Drones
Unmanned aerial systems (drones) are not allowed to take off, fly or land in the area covered by our house rules. You will receive the ascent permission for photography/filming as well as the operation of drones from the organizer. All authorized ascents must be coordinated with the event management and the police and rescue services.

    Weapons
Weapons have no place at all at our events.

    Slingshots
Slings and twists of any kind are prohibited.

    ...at the festival area

    The info booth
Our information desk staff will help you with any kind of questions and provide you with current information.

    The info walls
These are located at the intersections on the festival area. Here you will find all current information in written form: site plan, timetable as well as current information.

    Stage speakers
In case of changes or similar, the stage speakers will inform you during the breaks.

    ...online

Also this year you can get information via our festival app as well as via our social media.

  • Police and security personnel are present and keep an eye on criminal activities on the camping and festival grounds. Nevertheless, thieves are successful now and then - here are a few tips that you should keep in mind:
    - do not take any items with you that must not be lost under any circumstances
    - take care of each other and your belongings
    - distribute money and cell phone in different bags
    - always carry important medicines with you

If, despite these measures, someone should lose something, first contact the information desk or the cashiers. If it is clear that something has been stolen, please report it to the police.

  • Nazis must stay outside! Furthermore, racist, sexist, homophobic and other harassment will be punished immediately and will result in an expulsion from the festival grounds. Prohibited symbols in any form, propaganda material, right-wing extremist music and slogans as well as extremist and unconstitutional behavior of any kind are strictly prohibited!

  • Garbage
A festival weekend generates garbage. However, in order to not leave the festival grounds looking like a battlefield and to keep the cost of cleaning the grounds and disposing of trash as low as possible, we ask that you always dispose of trash in the bins provided. Please remember that deposit bottles and cans are recyclables that belong in the designated collection bins.

    Environmental protection
Our festival is located in a beautiful green environment that we all want to enjoy for as long as possible. Therefore, please make sure to treat trees, bushes and plants with care. Carving hearts into a tree, painting them, or giving flowers that have been plucked out may be romantic, but a love note will do just as well.

  • Visitors are liable for any damage they cause. The provisions of the Youth Protection Act apply.

  • During the festival: If you have lost something, you can ask directly at the information desk on the festival site. You are also welcome to hand in found things there.

Opening hours of the info booth:
    FR: 14:00 - 0:00
    SA: 13:30 - 0:00
    SU: 13:30 - 22:00

After the festival, all lost and found items will be collected and sent to the Central Lost and Found Office Hamburg-Altona. There you can report your lost property shortly after the festival.

  • In the FREIHANDELSZONE you can explore, discover and let yourself drift. You will soon find all the stands in our EXPLORE section. Would you like to run your own stand in our free trade zone? Soon you can find all the information here.
