We want to make it possible for every guest to move freely on the MS DOCKVILLE. The festival area is a fallow and meanwhile green industrial area - bumpy and ungraded. We will prepare the area as best as possible for you.
At the stages Vorschot and Gro?schot you will find barrier-free stands, where you can stay with max. 1 accompanying person at any time.
We have barrier-free mobile toilets, which are located throughout the site in the area of the main sanitary facilities.
All visitors are allowed to take one drinking vessel up to 1.5l with non-alcoholic beverage content as well as one empty drinking bottle (no glass!) onto the festival grounds. Drinking water will of course be available free of charge on the festival grounds. Tetra Packs are not allowed. Food is also not allowed to be taken onto the festival grounds. There will be numerous food and beverage stands.
Professional recording equipment
In general, no sound or video recordings are allowed on the festival grounds and consequently any violation will be punished by law. Allowed are 35mm cameras, reflex cameras without interchangeable lenses and cell phones with camera function. All recordings made without the explicit permission of the organizer or the artists are prohibited. As a consequence, criminal proceedings will be taken against the publication.
Unmanned aerial systems (drones) are not allowed to take off, fly or land in the area covered by our house rules. You will receive the ascent permission for photography/filming as well as the operation of drones from the organizer. All authorized ascents must be coordinated with the event management and the police and rescue services.
Weapons have no place at all at our events.
Slings and twists of any kind are prohibited.

Pyro objects and laser pointers are prohibited on the festival grounds. You must also leave pressurized containers (e.g. deodorants and hairspray) at your camp.
You can get the latest information about weather conditions, timetable changes...
...at the festival area
The info booth
Our information desk staff will help you with any kind of questions and provide you with current information.
The info walls
These are located at the intersections on the festival area. Here you will find all current information in written form: site plan, timetable as well as current information.
In case of changes or similar, the stage speakers will inform you during the breaks.
Also this year you can get information via our festival app as well as via our social media.
Police and security personnel are present and keep an eye on criminal activities on the camping and festival grounds. Nevertheless, thieves are successful now and then - here are a few tips that you should keep in mind:
- do not take any items with you that must not be lost under any circumstances
- take care of each other and your belongings
- distribute money and cell phone in different bags
- always carry important medicines with you
If, despite these measures, someone should lose something, first contact the information desk or the cashiers. If it is clear that something has been stolen, please report it to the police.
Nazis must stay outside! Furthermore, racist, sexist, homophobic and other harassment will be punished immediately and will result in an expulsion from the festival grounds. Prohibited symbols in any form, propaganda material, right-wing extremist music and slogans as well as extremist and unconstitutional behavior of any kind are strictly prohibited!
A festival weekend generates garbage. However, in order to not leave the festival grounds looking like a battlefield and to keep the cost of cleaning the grounds and disposing of trash as low as possible, we ask that you always dispose of trash in the bins provided. Please remember that deposit bottles and cans are recyclables that belong in the designated collection bins.
Our festival is located in a beautiful green environment that we all want to enjoy for as long as possible. Therefore, please make sure to treat trees, bushes and plants with care. Carving hearts into a tree, painting them, or giving flowers that have been plucked out may be romantic, but a love note will do just as well.
During the festival: If you have lost something, you can ask directly at the information desk on the festival site. You are also welcome to hand in found things there.
Opening hours of the info booth:
FR: 14:00 - 0:00
SA: 13:30 - 0:00
SU: 13:30 - 22:00
After the festival, all lost and found items will be collected and sent to the Central Lost and Found Office Hamburg-Altona. There you can report your lost property shortly after the festival.
We believe that children do not belong on the MS DOCKVILLE. Because there it is often loud and crowded, and that is both not nice for small children. Therefore, admission on Friday and Saturday is only possible from the age of 12.
Parents or guardians decide on the participation of young people in the festival. This is based on the law on the care of persons and the law on the protection of minors in the BGB. According to this law, legal guardians have the duty to care for their underage child and ultimately decide whether to allow them to participate in the festival. On site, the generally applicable Youth Protection Act applies with regard to the serving of alcoholic beverages and the distribution of tobacco products. If children or young people are found smoking or drinking during a youth protection check, they can be expelled from the festival and sent home.
Festival participants under 16 years of age may only be on the festival grounds in the company of their legal guardians or with written permission from them and the additional accompaniment of a parent or guardian.
After 24:00, young people between the ages of 16 and 18 are required to carry written permission from their legal guardians. This written permission is only valid with a copy of the identity card of the legal guardian.
Visitors are liable for any damage they cause. The provisions of the Youth Protection Act apply.

Sunday: 09:00 - 00:00
Monday: 07:00 - 12:00
The 5 EUR will only be returned if you hand in the garbage chip and a full garbage bag! Remember that after Monday at 12:00 you have no possibility to get your garbage deposit back.
Please do not bring glass and glass bottles. Glass is absolutely forbidden on the entire campsite and confetti is also not allowed on the campsite. Large sound systems and power generators must stay at home as well.
Barbecuing on the premises is strictly prohibited by the local fire department. However, we have set up special barbecue areas for you - please use these exclusively! Floor grills are not allowed - not even at the barbecue areas.
You have bought canned ravioli, bananas or other food for a whole summer vacation and don't want to carry it all home again? Or do you have a hole in your stomach and want a snack?
Then come by the Foodsharing initiative's stand at the campsite every day between 12 and 6 pm - it is located very close to the lock. The team will also be on the campsite.
At the campsites there will be a shower camp with everything you need again this year. This can be used free of charge; just like the fancy ceramic toilets!
Our campground is a tent-only campground with no RVs or other traffic. This keeps the air clean.
Anything can happen! After all, MS DOCKVILLE takes place in the cool and unpredictable north of Germany. In addition to a sun hat, sunscreen and sunglasses, your luggage should also include a rain jacket, thick sweaters and warm socks.
Our festival is located in a beautiful green environment that we all want to enjoy for as long as possible. Therefore, please take care to treat trees, bushes and plants with care. Carving hearts into a tree, painting them or giving flowers that have been plucked out may be romantic, but a love note will do just as well.
Dogs, cats, mice, rats and also your guinea pigs do not belong on our campsite and therefore it is not allowed to bring them. Save your four-legged friends the stress and noise and leave them at home.
If you feel uncomfortable, have experienced discrimination or boundary violations, need support or notice inappropriate behaviour, you can contact the awareness team and all other festival team members (psycare team, bar team, security, paramedics and other crew members). They can also be contacted by phone, SMS and What's App on 01522 8332047 throughout the duration of the event. Look out for yourself and others so that we can all feel comfortable and have a lovely and safe festival together.
We have an awareness team on site and some simple rules that apply to everyone:
- Any forms of discrimination, sexism or racism will not be tolerated at our festival and will result in being banned. Symbols and signs used by organisations with fascist or discriminatory positioning are also not welcome on our premises.
- We do not tolerate verbal or physical violence - this includes staring and catcalling.
- Respect the boundaries of your fellow human beings: Only an unequivocal yes or an unambiguous invitation means yes. No always means no. Be especially careful if you or the other person are not sober.
- Only the person concerned decides what they perceive as violence or discrimination. We do not question the experience of others and believe them.
- Since we do not all have the same privileges in a heteronormative, sexist society, the following applies to us: presenting yourself topless is undesirable.
- You can't look at anyone's gender identity. So ask others about their pronouns or avoid using them altogether.
- Be sensitive to cultural appropriation when adopting elements of a marginalised culture to which you do not belong (clothing, hairstyles, make-up, jewellery, symbols, etc).
- Please be careful not to photograph other people without their explicit permission.
