With my sculpture I intend to invite visitors to reflect on the duality between the constantly changing urban world and the paths we choose to follow along the way.

It’s always a matter of survival, and a wise cat will know his way around the city paths even though they are in a continuos metamorphosis of change.

The space changes everyday and we will need to adjust in a physical and mental way because there’s no stability in change and the truth is our mind will be racing to find answers that responde to  the new challenges that the world places in front of us. How fast can we change? Do we have 7 lives? Eventually for some it’s game over. Luckily, my cat still has 6 lives left to find the right path.

Catarina Mint aka Glam is a Portuguese urban artist whose work started at the beginning of the year 2000 when her passion for colors and shapes took over her life and she dedicated herself to graffiti and painting murals. From that moment, all the conditions were created for her to develop work on other platforms and supports. The transition from graffiti to multi-dimensional works on paper and wood was inevitable, since then she has been developing design pieces and characters for several brands, art exhibitions and international festivals. Her universe is vast, her mind is racing, it is an organized chaos, but everything she develops is done in a careful and attentive way down to the smallest detail.
